Research Team on Water Resources Management and Sustainable Development

Professor WANG Run, Head of the Research Team on Water Resources Management and Sustainable Development, takes the study of "Water-Energy-Food Linkage" as an important direction, and takes integrated watershed management and management as the research content. The aim is to help formulate comprehensive watershed management policies and strategies that integrate multi-disciplinary and multi-field to serve regional sustainable development. The research team currently undertakes a number of national and provincial research projects, including "Environmental Protection Research in the Yangtze River Economic Zone". The research team will continue to give full play to its professional advantages, actively expand cooperation with research institutions of provinces and municipalities in the Yangtze River Basin, establish a collaborative and innovative disciplinary platform, and better provide policy and advisory services for the needs of regional socio-economic development.
