The Scientific Research Achievements of Our College Show at the National New Farmers and New Technologies Innovation Expo

On November 15, 2018 "Internet + New Technologies of Modern Agriculture" and "New Farmers' Entrepreneurship and Innovation" Fair opened in Nanjing. The Expo comprehensively demonstrates the latest achievements and the highest level of "Double New and Double Innovation" in rural China, attracting more than 1600 enterprises and institutions to participate. Hubei University participated in the exhibition as one of the two representatives of universities in Hubei Province.

The Institute of Resources and Environment, on behalf of the school, brought two advanced technologies of aquatic planting and hyperspectral agricultural remote sensing monitoring, as well as more than 10 domestic leading technologies, such as rural sewage treatment, green utilization of biogas slurry and symbiosis of fish and vegetables to the exhibition site, attracting many exhibitors and agricultural enterprises for Consultation.

The Expo, sponsored by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Areas, the Central Network Information Office and the Jiangsu Provincial Government, is a "Canton Fair" in the field of agriculture and rural areas. It aims to promote the application and innovation of new agricultural technologies, stimulate the innovation vitality of Rural Entrepreneurship and promote the implementation of the strategy of rural revitalization.
