Tourism Planning Team (Director Professor Zhang Liming). The research team is based in Hubei Province and faces the whole country. The research content involves the whole process of tourism development, including tourism resources survey, tourism market research, tourism development model, tourism development process monitoring and tourism planning, etc. It actively undertakes various tourism planning and development research subjects at all levels.Footprints are found in Hubei, Henan, Guangdong, Hebei, Tianjin, Fujian and Chongqing provinces (cities).Since its establishment in 1988, the team has accumulated a wealth of research cases.Over the past five years, team members have presided over more than 10 projects such as the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the Hubei Natural Science Foundation, the Hubei Science and Technology Research Program and the major consultation and decision-making projects in Hubei Province, and over 100 research projects entrusted by local governments at all levels and large enterprise groups in China, especially in Hubei Province.More than 20 consultation and research reports have been completed for government departments at all levels, and more than 200 consultation meetings have been held on domestic and provincial tourism development planning and project demonstration.Providing advice and guidance for local tourism, providing a solid theoretical support for the government's scientific decision-making and tourism development and construction, and providing a scientific basis for national economic construction and social development, especially for the development of tourism industry in Hubei Province.
